Immediate Roadside Sanction FAQs
The Immediate Roadside Suspension is a program instated by the Alberta Government where you can face an immediate driver’s licence suspension, vehicle seizures, fines and more if law enforcement has grounds to believe that you are operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level between 0.05 and 0.079.
The evaluation of your ticket to determine if it is possible to make an appeal is completely free. Even if we find that we are unable to fight your ticket, you do not pay anything.
All you have to do is upload a photo of your ticket and your contact information, and our team will review your ticket. We will contact you within 1-2 hours to let you know if you can successfully make an appeal or if you may be facing a driving suspension.
If we believe we can fight your ticket, our team of lawyers will begin the process of helping you keep your licence.
If you receive an IRS FAIL, you could be facing an immediate driving suspension of up to 15 months. If you want to avoid losing your ability to drive, contact Drive Defence as soon as possible.
Once we determine if we can appeal your ticket in court, we offer monthly payment plans and accept credit cards for our legal services.
Our payment options include:
• 50% Initial Fee Payment Option
• Full Payment Option
